prime-hrm-neda12_1-webKoronadal City, South Cotabato. – The NEDA Regional Office (NRO) XII will receive a Certificate of Recognition from the Civil Service Commission Regional Office XII in the area of Performance Management System (PMS) under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM).

In her letter to NRO XII Regional Director Arturo G. Valero dated 5 February 2016, CSC XII Regional Director Grace Belgado-Saqueton congratulated NRO XII for having met the requirements of Maturity Level 2, particularly in PMS. She said that the certificate is a fitting recognition of the NRO’s achievement in making PMS a part of the culture of performance and accountability in the bureaucracy. The awarding ceremony will be on 24 February 2016, 9:00 AM, at Villa Princessita, Koronadal City,

CSC XII’s recognition of NRO XII’s PMS was based on the results of the Commission’s two rounds of validation visits to the office on 1 October and 13 October 2015, by CSC-Cotabato City Field Office and CSC RO XII validators, respectively. The CSC XII validation report dated 23 October 2015 revealed that “using the PRIME-HRM tool in the area of PMS, NRO XII is lauded for meeting all the requirements for Maturity Levels under the PMS and that the agency obtained a 100% rating in the Systems, Competencies and Practices lens.”

NRO XII is expected to give a short impression on accepting the challenge and commitment to elevate the rest of its HR systems to reach Maturity Level 2 or higher Maturity Level. NRO XII’s response shall serve as a motivation to other government agencies to aspire and achieve higher performance levels.

Other than this recognition, NRO XII also holds a revalidated Level II Accreditation Status per CSC Resolution No. 1301748 promulgated on 6 August 2013.  (Lalaine M. Sajelan, FAD)
