City of Koronadal, South Cotabato – The National Economic and Development Authority Regional Office (NRO) XII conducted a training on audio-visual presentation using Sony Vegas Pro on December 12-15, 2017 at the NRO XII Conference Room, Prime Regional Government Center, Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City.

Fourteen (14) employees of NEDA XII and two (2) staff from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) XII participated in the training, with Mr. James Paul S. Bernardo of Embr.IO Multimedia Productions and Mensahe TV served as main resource speaker.

The purpose of the training is for the participants to acquire skills on audio-visual production and develop a presentation for sectoral committee reports of the Regional Development Council (RDC) XII meetings in the coming year.

Lecture supplemented with hands-on exercises was employed in order for the participants to have better appreciation and understanding on the software used.

At the end of the training, participants presented audio-visuals they developed utilizing the reports of the RDC XII Sectoral Committees.

NEDA XII Regional Director Arturo G. Valero and Assistant Regional Director Noel E. Quiratman led the panel of reactors on the final day of the training.  Also present to give their insights were Ms. Maria Felicidad R. Guerrero, Chief Economic Development Specialist (EDS) of Policy Formulation and Planning Division (PFPD), Ms. Eden F. Ridao, Supervising EDS of Project Development, Investment Programming, and Budgeting Division, and Ms. Julie Esperanza B. Chung, Chief Administrative Officer of Finance and Administrative Division.
