
Koronadal City, South Cotabato—The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) XII gave tribute to all mothers in celebration of Mother’s Day back-to-back with an exit conference for the on-the-job training (OJT) students from Notre Dame of Midsayap College (NDMC) on May 11, 2023.
In her opening message, RD Teresita Socorro C. Ramos shared her experience as a mother and civil servant, two roles that best define her as a person. Her experience taught her that motherhood could either make or break you.
Games on iconic women, an audio-visual presentation, and gifts were played and shared to honor the mothers in NEDA XII. Mr. Alberto U. Pesodas Jr. also serenaded them.

NEDA XII also conducted the concluding program for the six OJTs from NDMC – Bachelor of Public Administration as a sign of appreciation for the 500 hours of duty at the Office for the period February to May 2023. The students expressed their gratitude to the management and staff for the experiences and learning they have garnered during their stay. NEDA XII Division Chiefs also gave their congratulations and thanked the OJTs for a job well done.
As part of the Mother’s Day celebration, Mr. Nevin L. Hallegado, Chief Social Insurance Officer – Membership Section of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation XII, gave an orientation on the Universal Health Care and PhilHealth Konsulta (Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama) Package. Mr. Hallegado emphasized that every Filipino will have “immediate eligibility” for preventive, curative, rehabilitative, and palliative care under these two programs. He also discussed the benefits of the primary care package (KonSulta Package), its availment process, and the accredited KonSulta providers in Region XII. (Cherry May T. Distor, NEDA XII, FAD-FRMS)
