Koronadal City, South Cotabato.– The NEDA Regional Office (NRO) XII launched the 115th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) on 1 September 2015 at the Special Reference and Data Center of the office with an opening program participated by NRO XII staff. The theme for this year’s PCSA celebration, “Kayang-Kaya Mo, Lingkod Bayani”, recognizes and honors the contributions of the servant heroes (lingkod bayani) who unselfishly share talents, abilities and their lives in serving their countrymen.
In line with the Gender and Development and Wellness Program of NRO XII, the Finance and Administrative Division lined-up several activities for the month-long celebration. These include the hanging of PCSA banner for the whole month of September, First Friday Eucharistic Celebration (4 September), Philippine Civil Service Trivia during general staff meeting on Mondays, Zumbataw (every Thursday), “Gulayan sa Opisina” Project (10 September), in-house session on Financial Wellness (16 September), RDC XII Week celebration in Tacurong City (22 September), culmination activity (28 September) and RDC XII Regular Meeting (29 September).
Still related to the PCSA, five NRO XII staff participated in the Kick-Off Program and Zumba Marathon on 5 September 2015 at Cotabato City State Polytechnic College, Cotabato City that was initiated by Civil Service Commission XII. The employees were Lalaine M. Sajelan (FAD), Romel Patrick E. Tanghal (PFPD), Ma. Estela B. Cabangal (FAD), Angelina C. Soriano (FAD), and Muslimen S. Maniala (FAD).
On 14 September 2015, the NRO XII staff took their oath and recited the “Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan” as a gesture of renewing commitment to public service. The anniversary message of Hon. Robert S. Martinez, Acting CSC Chairperson was also shared to the NRO XII staff. (Lalaine M. Sajelan, FAD)
