Koronadal City, South Cotabato – The National Economic and Development Authority Regional Office (NRO) XII has been recommended by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office XII to be awarded with the Commission’s Certificate of Recognition under the Performance Management System (PMS). This was bared recently by NRO XII Regional Director Arturo G. Valero based on the letter of CSC XII Regional Director Grace R. Belgado-Saqueton dated 23 October 2015.
The CSC XII validation report revealed that NRO XII and the Human Resource Management Office are at Maturity Level 4 on the PMS. “Using the PRIME-HRM tool in the area of PMS and taking into account the documentary evidences and interviews, NRO XII is lauded for meeting all the requirements for Maturity Levels 1-4 under the PMS. The agency obtained a 100% rating in the Systems, Competencies and Practices lens,” the CSC XII report says.
It was also highlighted in the overall assessment of the said report that “the development of database in the PMS and full documentation of all activities relative to SPMS implementation made the agency fully compliant with all the indicators of PMS.” Engr. Ricardo L. Lamorena, Jr., ECE, EDS II of the Policy Formulation and Planning Division developed the latest NRO XII SPMS database, which CSC XII evaluated as highly complementary to the SPMS implementation of NRO XII. Engr. Lamorena conducted a general orientation on the said database for the NRO XII staff on 9 November 2015 at the NRO XII’s Special Reference and Data Center.
The Commission conducted two rounds of validation visits to NRO XII related to the implementation of PMS on 1 October 2015, with CSC-Cotabato City Field Director Teresita R. Antolin as validator, and 13 October 2015, with Ms. Imee Zantua, Sr. Personnel Specialist as CSC XII validator. The final validation shall be undertaken by the CSC Central Office this November 2015.
