Koronadal City, South Cotabato — NEDA RO XII hosted during the second flag raising ceremony of regional line agencies located at the Prime Regional Government Center (PRGC), Barangay Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City at 8:00 AM on February 03, 2020. This was followed by a brief program.
Fourteen (14) regional agencies, represented by the agency heads and staff, participated in the ceremony: Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Fishery and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Bureau of Jail Penology and Management (BJMP), Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF), Bureau of Treasury (BTr), Civil Service Commission (CSC), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Commission on Human Rights (CHR), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Education (DepED), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), National Economic and Development Authority, and National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS).
On behalf of NEDA XII Regional Director Teresita Socorro C. Ramos, Assistant Regional Director Noel E. Quiratman expressed his sincerest thanks and acknowledged the presence of the regional line agencies for joining the flag-raising ceremony, as well as the NEDA XII staff who exerted their efforts in making the preparation successful. ARD Quiratman imparted a few words that every employee must keep in mind as they work. He encouraged everyone to continue performing excellently, to take pride in their work and responsibilities because they are directly contributing to the success and growth of Region XII, particularly in making the lives of the people better.
ARD Quiratman also encouraged fellowship with every agency, to take this event as opportunity to get reacquainted, and to nurture the bond between agencies for better work relationship.
He also announced that the BFP XII shall be the host of the PRGC flag-raising ceremony in March 2020. This invitation was accepted by Supt. Nailyn A. Belonio, on behalf of Chief Superintendent Louie S. Puracan, Regional Director.
The ceremony is in consonance with Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular No. 19, s. 2012 which “mandates all government offices to observe the flag-raising ceremony every Monday, or the next working day if Monday is declared a holiday. “ CSC XII hosted the first PRGC flag-raising ceremony in Koronadal City on January 6, 2020.
