The Land Development Project of NHA XII in Barangay Calean, Tacurong City,Sultan Kudarat is up for bidding on June 26, 2015. This was reported by Regional Manager Rolando I. Teves, Jr. during the 2nd quarter RSDC meeting on June 9, 2015 at Villa Amor Hotel, Koronadal City.
RM Teves also revealed that a pre-bidding conference on June 11, 2015 shall be conducted prior to the formal bidding at NHA Operations Center, 3rd Floor NHA Main Building in Diliman, Quezon City. The said project is expected to complete land development and road works in the area and the winning bidder is required to complete the work within 138 calendar days.
To be eligible to vie for the said project, bidders must have completed a single contract similar to the project costing at least 50% of the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC).
The bidding process is also restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least 70% interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines. It will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184(RA 9184), also known as “Government Procurement Reform Act.” Further details for the bidding processes and invitations to bid can be browsed thru the NHA website.
Aside from the Invitation to Bid for the Calean Resettlement Project, RM Teves also reported the turnover ceremony of housing units for the New Esperanza IP Housing project on May 28, 2015. A total of 25 out of the projected 50 units (single-detached) were 100% completed and turned over to the awardees. The project covers 3 hectares of land in Barangay Esperanza, M’lang, Cotabato Province with a total cost of Php 5,000,000. (Judd Nichol Leonar/NEDA12-DRD)
